I attached fullscreen screenshots for comparison.

One image is Nuvio and other youtube.

Fix - make that tabs levitating like oneUI8.5/iOS26 or simply reduce the margin height.

I noticed the tabs were too low because android navigation buttons were overlaying the nuvio navigation buttons but after I installed the OTA the problem was resolved.

It's not too high. The bottom tab will adaptively adjust height based on android's navigation configuration. this is not a custom height setting but android's native adjustment. Closing.
