There doesn't need to be option in settings, it should just be that, agreed

This should be user preferred formate like in India use widely use °C as temperature unit but in USA °F used.

So matter what u prefer is not means everybody blindly follow that unit system.

That's not the same, everyone's uses minutes and hours, the app doesn't need to turn into a mess of settings
