No Account Sync

Nuvio operates entirely offline regarding user data. We do not have servers to store your account, preferences, or viewing history. All data is stored locally on your device.

Data Storage

We use React Native MMKV for high-performance local storage including:

  • Library and favorites
  • Watch history and progress
  • App settings and customization

Since data is stored only on your device, you are responsible for backing it up.

Third-Party Services

Nuvio integrates with external services:

  • TMDB for metadata like posters and cast info
  • Trakt.tv (optional) for watch history sync
  • Sentry for anonymous crash reporting
